The Burton Mission bindings are the go to for someone looking for bindings with high end features at a reasonable price.
These were the first bindings I ever bought, after doing a lot of research and I was happy with my purchase. The ankle strap and toe cap are very good, they are comfortable and I never had a problem with them slipping. The underfoot baseplate padding is soft, which adds to the all around comfort of the bindings.
They have canted highbacks, which help fit to your natural leg position. I had problems with the highback on the rear binding coming loose. It turns out that this is because everytime I kicked the highback down to get on the lift, it loosens the screw a little. It never got bad enough that I lost the screw, but I was always keeping an eye one them. I know that this is not a problem that only Missions have, it happens on most Burton bindings.
